Trek to Langtang Gosaikunda has the highest point of 4,985m in Tserko Ri and 4,773m in Kyanjin Ri with a day hike from Kyanjin Gompa which is an alpine village at 3870m with the panoramic views of the Himalayas, ancient monasteries and one of the oldest yak cheese factory.

The people in this region are mostly of Tibetian and Tamang Origin which has years of culture that reflects their Himalaya heritage by small stone houses, attires, and craftsmanship.

Get ready for a 15-day Langtang Gosaikunda trek filled with stunning mountain views, sacred lakes, and authentic Himalayan culture.

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, and transfer to the hotel by our team and a cultural welcome dinner at night.

Early morning drive from Kathmandu to scenic hills of Dhunche and to Trishuli village with the view of Trishuli river. We reached Syabrubesi in the evening. (115 km). 

Trek from Syafrubesi to Pairo (1810m) to Rimche (2400m) to Bamboo (1960m) Lama Hotel with river trails (14 km).

A five - to six-hour trek from Lama Hotel to the Himalayan valley Langtang en route Ghoda Tabela (3000m) and a beautiful monastery before the Langtang Village arrives. (11 km).

Acclimatization with only a four to five-hour trek to Kyanjin Gompa with small villages en route as well as a panoramic mountain view. Explore the oldest Yak cheese factory.  (6km).

Hike from Kyanjin Gompa to Kyanjin Ri or Tsergo Ri (5100m) with the number of glaciers in the route and return to Gompa to explore the nearby monasteries.

From the breakfast at the Gompa and lunch route in Ghoda Tabela Descent down to Lama Hotel from Kyanjin Gompa (15 km).

A five - to six-hour trek from Lama Hotel descending to Pairo and steep to Thulo Syabru (13 km).

A short three-hour trek from Thulo Syabru to Sing Gompa en route view of Langtang Himal, Ganesh Himal, and other Tibetan Mountains (6 km).

Trek from Sing Gompa to the holy lake Gosaikunda via Lauribinayak La (3920m) takes about six to seven hours (15 km). A number of other lakes can be seen around Gosaikunda.

A four to five-hour challenging climb from Gosaikunda to Lauribina La Pass (15 km).

A short trek from Phedi to Gopte (12 km).

Trek from Gopte to Melamchi village, a bigger human settlement.

A whole day drive from Melamchi to Kathmandu (41 km).

Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward journey.

Included

  • One government-certified and experienced English-speaking local guide for the entire trip.
  • One porter shared between two clients to carry your main backpack (weight limit: 10 kg per trekker).
  • An assistant guide will be provided if the group size exceeds six participants.
  • Private Jeep transfer: Kathmandu–Syabrubesi and Melamchi Village–Kathmandu.

The following documents are required to kickstart your adventure with Yatri:
Original passport and a copy of the passport

  • One passport-size photo for the permit
  • Soft copy of passport. 
  • International flight details - both ways (We provide the service of pick-up and drop-off at the airport)
  • Booking payment has to be done prior preferably 3-2 months before.
  • If you cancel the trip 45 days before the expedition, 50% of the payment will be reimbursed. After 45 days to the date of expedition, there will not be a refund.

Insurance is not mandatory for the normal trekking routes whereas, its mandatory in the regions which require special permit (Yatri provide insurance service by liasing with other insurance companies for your convinence). 

You can obtain visa on arrival in Nepal or a visitor can apply for an e-visa. If you’re trekking in special permit regions, its important to apply visa approximately 5 days before your travel to Nepal and should be submitted to the Great Himalayan Yatri Pvt. Ltd.
