The Ama Dablam Base Camp Trek, located in the Khumbu region of Nepal, is an adrenaline–filled journey through some of the most stunning mountain scenery in the world. The trek takes you to the base camp of the iconic Ama Dablam mountain and is a great way to explore the culture, traditions and stunning landscapes of the Himalayas. The trek starts with a flight to Lukla and then takes you through the villages of Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, Dingboche and Lobuche before reaching the base camp. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to explore ancient Buddhist monasteries, visit the friendly Sherpa people, and be mesmerized by the incredible mountain views. The trek is fairly strenuous but can be done by anyone with an average level of fitness.
- Day 01: Welcome to Kathmandu (1,380 m), meeting at airport then taxi drop to hotel. Overnight in hotel in Kathmandu.
- Day 02: Kathmandu to Lukla (2,850 m), 30 minutes by flight. Same day trek to Phakding (2,600 m), 3 to 4 hours walk. Overnight stay at hotel.
- Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m), 4 to 5 hours walk. Overnight stay at hotel.
- Day 04: Rest day at Namche and visit Everest View hotel and Khumjung (3,840 m). Overnight stay at hotel.
- Day 05: Trek to Tengboche (3,860 m), 6 to 7 hours walk. Overnight.
- Day 06: Trek to Pangboche (4,000 m), 4 to 5 hours walk. Overnight.
- Day 07: Explore Day and visit Ama Dablam Base Camp (4,600 m). Overnight.
- Day 08: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m), 6 to 7 hours walk. Overnight.
- Day 09: Trek to Lukla (2,850 m), 6 to 7 hours walk. Overnight.
- Day 10: Early morning flight back to Kathmandu. Free day at Kathmandu.
- Day 11: Departure to your hometown.
