The Langtang Valley Trek offers an enchanting journey into one of Nepal’s most pristine regions. Nestled within Langtang National Park, this trek boasts stunning views of Langtang Lirung (7,227m), Dorje Lakpa (6,966m), and other majestic peaks. Alongside the breathtaking landscapes, trekkers can immerse themselves in the traditions of the Tamang ethnic community and visit ancient Tibetan Buddhist monasteries.

Get ready to embark on an unforgettable adventure with our carefully crafted 10-day Langtang Valley trek itinerary, taking you through the majestic landscapes and hidden gems of the Himalayas.
Day 1 :
Arrival at Kathmandu
Day 2 :
Kathmandu to Syabrubesi
Enjoy a scenic drive through lush hills, rivers, and local villages to Syabrubesi, the trek’s starting point.
Drive Duration: 122 km in 5-6 hours.
Day 3 :
Trek to Lama Hotel
Follow the Langtang River through dense forests, passing waterfalls and Tamang settlements (11km).
Trek Duration: 5-6 hours.
DAY 4 :
Trek to Langtang Village
Ascend through forests and meadows with views of Langtang Lirung. Explore the cultural charm of Langtang Village (10 km).
Trek Duration: 5-6 hours
DAY 5 :
Trek to Kyanjin Gompa
Short trek to Kyanjin Gompa, where you can visit ancient monasteries and a traditional yak cheese factory (6 km).
Trek Duration: 4-5 hours.
DAY 6 :
Acclimatization and Exploration
Hike to Tserko Ri or Kyanjin Ri for breathtaking views of Langtang Lirung and surrounding peaks.
DAY 7 :
Trek to Riverside
Retrace your steps, descending through forests and past waterfalls to Riverside (12 km)
Trek Duration: 5-6 hours
DAY 8 :
Trek to Syabrubesi
Final day of trekking, descending to Syabrubesi with time to explore the village (10 km).
Trek Duration: 5-6 hours
DAY 9 :
Drive to Kathmandu
Return to Kathmandu with stunning views of the countryside (122 km).
Drive Duration: 6-7 hours
DAY 10 :
Final Departure
Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward journey.
- One government-certified and experienced English-speaking local for the whole trip.

Additional Informations
The following documents are required to kickstart your adventure with Yatri:
Original passport and a copy of passport
- Two passport size photo
- International flight details - both ways (We provide service of pick-up and drop-off at the airport)
- Booking payment has to be done prior preferably 3-2 months before.
- If you cancel the trip 45 days before the expedition, 50% of the payment will be reimbursed. After 45 days to the date of expedition, there will not be a refund.
Insurance is not mandatory for the normal trekking routes whereas, its mandatory in the regions which require special permit (Yatri provide insurance service by liasing with other insurance companies for your convinence).
You can obtain visa on arrival in Nepal or a visitor can apply for an e-visa. If you’re trekking in special permit regions, its important to apply visa approximately 5 days before your travel to Nepal and should be submitted to the Great Himalayan Yatri Pvt. Ltd.
